Starting October with October 18th the Brownshirt and Committee meetings will be jointly held at the church at 7:00 on the third Thursday of the month.
Committee Meeting
The Committee Meetings are held the first tuesday of every month at 7:00 for all Committee Members and interested parents of Troop 130. Mike W.. is the Chairman. The function of the Committee is to perform the business of the troop. This includes financial matters, troop chartering, support of the Scoutmaster in programming, working with the Quartermaster for equipment needs and overseeing Advancements and Board of Reviews.

PLC or Patrol Leaders Council
This Meeting is for the Youth Leadership of Troop 130. The leader of this meeting is the SPL (Senior Patrol Leader), currently Jacob. The function of this group is to determine what they want to do for future campouts, plan troop meetings, discuss any problems that may need reconciliation and make decisions to help them meet their goal or objective for the Troop.
MB Counselor
This is somebody willing to teach a merit badge to our youth in an area that they have specific knowledge or interest in. There are a wide range to subject areas for the merit badges. If you are interested please review the offering (they can be found in the troop handbook on the back of the resorce sheet or at www.meritbadge.com If you would like to help Troop 130 as a counselor please see Judi for the necessary papework to sign up and for the MB Booklet. We can use your help. Our Counselors are extrememly important on MB Nights each month. The two most important things you need to know is that the blue cards are the boys responsibilility and you must follow, without any changes, the requirements in the book
